See our video menu for SIP video phone. We monitor the internet and trade magazines for VoIP video phones that provide free services. It is difficult to find VoIP video phones that benefit you the most. Here is what we want:
- Free SIP to SIP calls
- Clear audio
- Softphone, but can use standalone videophone using ATA (an adapter)
- No contract for initial download and useage
- Off net calls to any number capable
- PIP (Picture in Picture): See both sides of the conversation
- Caller ID (CID)
- Low optional price for standard telephone calls
- Good video display and refresh rate

Other services such as Packet8 require a commitment and it is all or nothing. Since the purpose of this site is to discuss free net calls, we exclude services such as Packet8 even though they say they are communication for the broadband generation. Services such as Stanaphone and Glophone offer free SIP to SIP but don't have video. While all of these companies do a great job, for the purpose of this discussion we are looking for a good free video phone for internet telephony.
