Pulver Communicator is an innovative new product from FWD (Free World Dialup) Communications that combines the best elements of IP Communications - Instant Messaging, Voice (person-to-person and conference calling), Presence, and Social Networking - in one intuitive client application. This is a good looking free software download.

FWD - known as Free World Dialup - was one of the leaders and early pioneers of VoIP. Their free software helped many people talk over the Internet and stimulated a growth spurt in the industry. Many predicated that people would want a combination of features in one product and Communicator does it all. No longer locked into one instant messaging client such as AOL Instant Messenger, Communicator combines all popular instant messenging services, VoIP, conference calling and social networking in one free download.

Communicator can now be "unlocked" and used with any SIP-compliant network! Please be aware, though, that only users who are comfortable "tinkering under the hood" should configure Communicator with non-FWD SIP proxies as no support will be offered for other service providers. Their website has instructions on unlocking Communicator for use with other SIP networks.

Call-me, as described on their website:
"Communicator’s Call-Me Link feature can be used to establish VoIP connections with non-SIP-enabled Buddy List contacts. Sending a Call-Me Link to a contact provides that contact with an easy means to establish an immediate VoIP call-back to the sender, via FWD Communication's FWDTalk service. The recipient of a Call-Me Link need not be a Free World Dialup subscriber, they just need to be running XP on a PC that has a microphone and speakers (or they need to have a headset plugged into the appropriate jacks)."

Well worth a look if you are looking for a Skype type of client, you can visit their website here
