PhoneOpia lets you try out their SIP based Voip service by giving you 10 free minutes of calls in the US and Canada, however they are running a banner on their website that says five free minutes. You can fund your account for as little as $5 (USD) and you can download their soft phone.
They appear to use the free X-Lite phone but also have instructions for setting up your Grandstream, X-Pro and Cisco products. We did not test their service for quality and clarity. We did not see information on direct inward dialing.
The PhoneOpia website is multi-lingual with options for english, spanish, arabic, urdu and hindi. Reseller opportunities are available.
PhoneOpia is actually part of Super Technologies Inc, with wholesaler, business and residential service. Residential plans resemble Vonage. Super Technologies stresses a virtual office, regardless of location, for heavy Voip users.
