SPS Netphone software can be used with any dial-up, broadband or cable/DSL internet connection. It can also be used to make calls to people outside of the SPS Netphone Network. They claim to cover over 250 countries.
Their softphone is easy to use and has administrative buttons on the front of the phone, meaning you always know how much is in your account. Their program for selecting voip DID's is inactive at the present time. SPS Netphone says it will be active soon, thus users can select area codes and telephone numbers for any location.
Clearly stating that it is not an alternative for your primary telephone line, this nice product gives you free calls within their network of SPS Netphone users. Great for business associates, college students, and any other application where free telecomunications is a benefit.
