Topic Title: MutualPhone enhanced tools available from resellers
MutualPhone claims to be Asterisk compatible. They also peer with Free World Dialup. Rates to and within the USA are only 0.012 while the average for the USA is 0.029. (We use the USA rate as the benchmark for rate comparison)
Get a free USA number from ipkall, then forward it to your mutualphone account. then your friends/Clients can call this USA number, your phone at mutualphonw will ring. This will not work on dialup because of the codec's used. It appears that MutualPhone does not have direct inward dialing of its own. Direct inward dialing is abbreviated as DID. Services that offer free direct inward dialing are Stanaphone and GloPhone. Skype makes you pay for it, as do others.
You can get a USA, UK, Russia and/or Israel phone number from http://libretel.com. and forward to mutualphone account. This is not really exclusive to MutualPhone. See our discussion fo ExpressTalk for more on this subject, and how to configure four lines with SIP. WIth call forwarding you can expand Express Talk's four line system to six lines or more.
One huge benefit of the MutualPhone website is their FAQ. Setup examples are found and they pertain to many SIP providers. Just substitute. Their website is here
