The role of eyeP Media in VoIP applications
Perhaps not for the average experimenter or casual VoIP user? There are plenty of VoIP offers, soft phones and hard phones that use SIP and your computer. Others use an ATA adapter. eyeP Media develops and markets software allowing fixed and mobile Telecom Service providers, ISP's, Telecom Solution Providers and System Integrators to provide their own customized multimedia end user application for communication over IP.
In the early days of VoIP eyeP Media developed a VoIP softphone, as did many other competitors. eyeP, however, took a different path as VoIP matured. Their software is available for as client software for PCs, PDAs, mobile dual (cellular/WiFi) phones and embedded systems and as server software fo network media servers.
No longer do they offer free phones for the average experimenter or casual VoIP user. They do offer developer kits and tool kits for providers. They have quality products that run the backbone of many VoIP applications.
