Firefly phone for kids and Cubix PC VoIP Phones from Opex and Virbiage
One version of Firefly is specifically designed for kids
There are two providers of the Firefly phone. One is from Opex. Firefly is the mobile phone designed for kids. It's small, sturdy, and shaped to fit a kid's hand. With a kid-friendly keypad, the Firefly™ phone is the fun way to keep kids connected to the people who matter most.

The other Firefly is from Virbiage, renamed as Cubix instead of Firefly. About it they say: Cubix is a Softphone - The term softphone is short for software telephone and that's just a fancy way of saying Internet telephone. Cubix is essentially an Internet telephone that allows you to make free phone calls to other people who are also running the same software on their computers.
One users said "Cleanest online communication tool I have ever used. Quick installation with user friendly interface. Excellent Support. No echoes or delays. Crisp sound with no distortions. A+ from me."
Firefly is an offering from Virbiage of Australia. While we always encourage our visitors to see the manufactureser's or programmer's website you need to hang on to the link above because the phone is hard to find if you go to Virbiage's front page. They also sell their own ATA adapter.
Visit their website here. This opens in a new window for your convenience.
Visit Virbiage to see Cubix. "Cubix is available for OEM licensing. The basic version is completely free to take a copy and use for testing or as a once off instance for your personal use" they say. The interface is much improved of Firefly.
