Google VoIP and a Google Operating System to Challenge Windows XP and Vista
Will Google Develop a Computer Operating System With VoIP?
In a new document just released those close to SIP, VoIP and Internet Telephony speculate that now may be the time for Google to make a firm move into the VoIP market. After all, Google is expected to raise a whopping USD$4 Billion with their next stock offer.
The document is speculative but does give insight into what is currently happening in the telecommunications and voice over internet industry. Saying the time is right for Google to invest their new found riches in a hot market, this article is facinating to say the least.
What we find most interesting is the thought that Google probably does have enough loyal users that trust Google, thus making Google a good choice to develop an operating system that would challenge Microsoft and their replacement for Windows XP, now known as Microsoft Vista.
Our editorial comments are new to these pages but are common in our telephony blog. A force like Google is large enough to change the face of internet telephones, VoIP, and SIP. Would it be a good thing or a bad one? Time will tell, but no matter what Google decides to do, some smaller companies must change their direction or go under.
We encourage you to read this hot new article on the thoughts of a Google operating system that incorporates voice over the internet, challenges Microsoft XP, brings internet telephone calls to the desktops of people worldwide, and could change VoIP forever.
Want to replace Windows or Linux with a Google operating system? Maybe a free operating system like Google Lite would clear the benches like a bad pitch in baseball or a stray kick in soccer.
